Iron man action figure collecting guide
Iron Man Action Figure Collecting Guide
Iron Man is a unique super hero. He is not a mutant with god-like power but a normal human equiped with a power suit armor. The armor is the source of its power. It can fly, and shoot a laser beam from its palm. Collecting its action figure is really fun as long as you can get the one with fine quality.
To find a good Iron Man Action Figure is not too hard. The most important thing from Iron Man is the sculpting of the body armor. The sculpting of the head is not a big issue here since Iron Man is using mask. The designer can easily imitate the mask design. So the first thing you should check is the design of the body armor. Make sure it has the similar detail with the one in the comic.
After the armor, the next thing to check is the articulation. Check the joint in the neck, does it has a ball jointed neck? A ball jointed neck will have more flexible movement than a pin joint. Check also the shoulders joint, it is also good to have a ball joint in the shoulders. The elbow, like any other action figures, usually has a pin joint. A ball joint in the hips is also good. With that, the action figure can be posed more flexible.
And don’t forget to pay attention with the finishing. Finishing includes a clean mold with no sprue left on, a crisp paint job, no smudges or smears, all limbs are attached firmly.
