Coin Shows
Didn’t much care for coin collecting until the day I found my grandpa’s set lying in the artic when I was twelve. I picked it up right away and feel in love with the shiny silver coins. Now at my age, I am good at telling the real deal from knock offs and love coin collection. To me it’s more than a hobby it’s my passion.
As I became more diverse in the coin collection game, I attend coin shows and I must say that I really enjoyed them and still do. This shows showcase thousands if not millions of coins that have been collected from all over. Many of the people that go to these shows are coin dealers and collectors and you get to meet people who have taken to coin collection like you have.
There are different kinds of shows, there are the big shows which are tended by lots of people but you tend to miss out at the chance to buy and coins let alone get a rare or valuable one. That is why I travel to the smaller coin shows that have less people and it is easier for someone to go through the number of coins that are showcased there.
If you decide to go to these coin shows you will probably leave there a fan of coin collecting and you will have fun look at all the coins that are displayed there. You will also get to learn first hand how to start your coin collection and how to progress from there.
